January 24th - JK Rowling gives birth to baby girl.
January 25th - No Mrs. Weasley in Goblet of Fire.
January 31st - In an article on her official website, JK Rowling warns fans of online scams.
February 4th - First rumors of Elizabeth Hurley for Bellatrix Lestrange appear, and crop up several times throughout the year, but are still debunked each time by WB.
February 11th - Number of pages in UK edition of Half-Blood Prince revealed.
February 17th - Visitor of GOF set report tells MuggleNet only Sirius's head will make an appearance during the fireplace scene, making Gary Oldman fans upset at his minor apperance.
February 25th - Bad weather plagues filming of GOF and delays production.
March 8th - Half-Blood Prince cover released for American, UK Children, and UK Adult version.
March 22nd - Order of the Phoenix filming rumors begin to stir, beginning with talk of filming in the Czech Republic.

April 10th - Goblet of Fire running time estimated at 150 minutes, reported by IMDB.
April 12th - First details on Goblet of Fire video game are released by Electronic Arts and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.
April 12th - Half-Blood Prince security strengthens as the release date draws near, with the security being subscribed as "tighter than the United Nations".
