Radcliffe confirms role in ‘The Woman in Black’
Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe has confirmed he will play the lead role in the Hammer movie The Woman in Black. The script has been written by Jane Goldman and the film will be directed by James Watkins.
“Based on an adaptation of Susan Hill’s best-selling novel, Radcliffe will play a young lawyer who finds himself embroiled in a ghostly hostage plot.”
Hammer became synonymous with the horror genre in the 1950s thanks to films like Dracula and The Mummy.
Production begins this fall.
