Chamber of Secrets signed manuscript of The Ballad of Nearly Headless Nick on display in Scotland

Handwritten pages by Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling will go on display at a book festival in Wigtown, Scotland.

The original, signed manuscripts are from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and feature “The Ballad of Nearly Headless Nick,” which was left out of the book prior to publishing. The pages will be on display at ReadingLasses bookshop.

The manuscripts were originally donated by Rowling to the Scottish Language Dictionaries in 2005 to help fund a new Scottish language dictionary.
