Rowling on Oprah: ‘Potter still in my head, I could definitely write 8 or 9’

MuggleNet reader Cindy has let us know that The Oprah Winfrey Show has already aired in her hometown of Chicago on ABC 7. The interview focused primarily on the life of author J.K. Rowling with some questions specific to the Potter series.

Of note, on whether she will write Potter again, she said: “They’re all still in my head. I could definitely write 8 or 9.”

On whether or not she will continue writing: “Definitely, I literally can’t stop. You could tie my hands, but I have to write for my mental health.”

She also said Michael Jackson approached her about a Harry Potter musical, but she turned him down.
