“Deathly Hallows – Part 1” nominated in Art Direction, Visual Effects at the 83rd annual Academy Awards

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 has been nominated in the categories of Art Direction and Visual Effects at the 83rd annual Academy Awards.

The penultimate Potter film is up against Alice in Wonderland, Inception, The King’s Speech and True Grit in Art Direction and Alice in Wonderland, Hereafter, Inception and Iron Man 2 in Visual Effects.

The Oscars will be live Sunday, February 27, 2011, at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, California and televised live on ABC beginning at 8:00 PM ET/ 5:00 PT.
