ITV gains rights to broadcast “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince”

UK broadcasting company, ITV, is continuing with its great relationship with Warner Brothers by acquiring free-to-air rights to Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, The Matrix trilogy, Troy, Mystic River, as well as a few other titles today.

The broadcasting company has had this relationship with Warner Brothers for six years now and have produced five Harry Potter: Behind the Scene Magic TV specials that were hosted by Ben Shephard along with the program 50 Greatest Harry Potter Moments.

From Warner Bros.International Television Distribution president, Jeffrey R. Schlesinger, “ITV has been a great supporter of the films produced by the studio over the years, and this deal once again illustrates the continuing value of top quality feature films to broadcast networks.”

We will update you when we learn of the time frame that Half-Blood Prince gets broadcasted in the UK.
