Middlebury College defeats Florida to win Fifth Annual Quidditch World Cup

Earlier this evening, before a raucous crowd at Icahn Stadium, Middlebury College defeated the University of Florida, 100-80, to win their fifth consecutive Quidditch World Cup.

Middlebury, the founding institution of Muggle Quidditch, lost their second game on Saturday in pool play to Michigan Quidditch.

This capped an exciting weekend of Quidditch action from Randall’s Island, New York.
