“Potter” works its magic at 2012 People’s Choice Awards, takes home four including Favorite Movie

Earlier tonight, the Harry Potter series picked up several of the top prizes at the 2012 People’s Choice Awards.

Here is a list of awards won:

Favorite Movie – Deathly Hallows – Part 2
Favorite Action Movie – Deathly Hallows – Part 2
Favorite Ensemble Movie Cast – Deathly Hallows – Part 2
Favorite Book Adaptation – Deathly Hallows – Part 2

The series was also nominated in the categories of Favorite Movie Actor (Daniel Radcliffe) and Favorite Movie Star Under 25 (Dan Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint and Tom Felton), but fell short.
