Song Parody of the Week: “Hagrid Loves the Way You Lie”

Our next featured song parody of the week comes from YouTube user Damitsgood, and this rewrite of Rihanna and Eminem’s “Love the Way You Lie” is quite good. It even features Hagrid carrying the musical melody with his voice and guitar.

Much like the form of the original pop song, the piece goes back and forth between Hagrid’s raspy, lamenting choruses and an angry Harry Potter rapping the verses. One verse:

I could turn you into a frog, you see. I know a spell that can make you pee your pants!
