King’s Cross sets permanent home for famous Platform 9 3/4

According to a recent article, King’s Cross has been undergoing a major renovation, to the tune of $782 million! However, the famous Platform 9 3/4 tourist attraction marked by a sign and baggage cart rolling through a wall, has been shuffled from location to location around King’s Cross, which has been extremely frustrating to tourists.

Now, according to a station map, which you can see right here, the platform has been given a permanent home located in the New Western Departures Concourse.

From the article:

Tourists will be able to visit the entrance to the platform starting on March 19 when the new concourse opens. If they want to visit the platform itself, they would presumably have to run through the wall.

Planning on seeing the Warner Brothers Studio Tour: The Making of Harry Potter after it opens, then there is no better place to start your Harry Potter site-seeing adventures off than first visiting King’s Cross station and having your picture taken “running through the barrier.”
