Jo still dreams about “HRH”; Bonnie, Dan, & Rupert project updates

The Harry Potter Wizarding Collection official website has released two videos over the past few weeks in anticipation of its release on September 7th. The first, a look at the map of Hogwarts grounds, which is to be included in the set, can be viewed here. The second is from the discussion between J.K. Rowling & screenwriter Steve Kloves.

In the clip, which can be viewed here, Jo & Steve discuss what they miss most about writing the Potter series. Both agree that writing the trio, or as Jo calls them – HRH, are what they miss the most. Steve admits that he used to dream about Potter, and laments that he hasn’t in sometime. Jo states that she “dreamt about it just the other night.” The pair then goes on to praise Rupert, who portrayed Ronald Weasley, even calling him “brilliant” … “a genius.”

In a recent exclusive interview with SnitchSeeker, Rupert discussed all of his upcoming projects, including CBGB, The Drummer, and of course, Potter. He responded to the praise by saying, “I’m not sure I agree, but that’s very nice. I miss that film and miss being on set with everyone. I don’t know that I’ll ever be on anything quite the same as that. Now it’s just memories. I’m doing new things and I’m enjoying that a lot.”

Rupert was also just confirmed as a guest voice on the FOX animated series, American Dad.

Meanwhile fellow ginger Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley) discusses her upcoming directorial debut, Separate We Come, Separate We Go, in which she got to direct yet another former Harry Potter costar, David Thewlis!

Lastly, but certainly not least, the first look at Dan in A Young Doctor’s Notebook, which debuts on British television in 2013, was posted on the IMDB page of his young costar, Rhianna Hosmer. Nice hair, Dan!

A very special thanks to SnitchSeeker for all the updates!

The Potter cast sure does seem to be busy these days! What are you most looking forward to?

I am a 40-something Ravenclaw/Slytherin from Massachusetts. I've been lucky in life and can attribute a lot of that to Harry Potter. Without it, I wouldn't have at least 80% of the things I do today, including my career & closest friends. I truly despise Sirius Black.
