With under two weeks until the highly anticipated release of The Casual Vacancy, J.K. Rowling will sit down for her first U.S. network television interview with ABC’s Cynthia McFadden.

McFadden, a co-anchor for ABC’s Nightline, received an invitation to join Rowling in Scotland, where the interview will take place. The discussion will reportedly include an exclusive preview of The Casual Vacancy. We can also expect questions and updates on Rowling’s post-Potter life.

The interview will initially air on Wednesday, September 26, on Good Morning America, World News with Diane Sawyer, and Nightline. Additional portions of the interview will air on the book’s release date of Thursday, September 27.
