Calling All Artists! Alohomora! holds international design competition!

Alohomora!, MuggleNet’s global re-read, is calling all artists for a global competition like no other! If you can draw, paint, or even digitize like no other, then this is the competition for you!

Now if you’re a fan of Alohomora!, than you are familiar with the Desk!Pig – maybe too familiar. We have been thinking that since our fans are so incredibly passionate about the Desk!Pig, that it is time that we offer some amazing products that feature him (or her?)! However, our goal at Alohomora! is to include the fans in everything, so…

This is where you come in! We want you to come up with a product featuring Desk!Pig. A t-shirt with a pithy expression, a frisbee with a piece of Desk!Pig bacon on it, or even something as simple as a keychain that states “Yum, Desk!Pig”. The best design and/or slogan will be used on a product in the very near future.

There are, unfortunately, a few rules. The product must center around Desk!Pig and it must contain your own portrayal of the swine along with an original slogan. Your entry must be hi-resolution (it is going to be used for printing, after all!) and absolutely cannot in any way, shape, or form, use any copyrighted material (like our friend Spider Pig from The Simpsons!). Using the Alohomora! logo, however, is permitted – and in fact, encouraged!

Entries can be sent to alohomorapodcast@gmail.com with “Desk!Pig” in the subject line, and must be received by November 3, 2012. Please include the following statement with your submission (this MUST be present for your entry to be considered) “I agree to let Alohomora! and MuggleNet.com to use my original work for retail purposes on a completely voluntary basis with no monetary compensation. I agree to these stated terms.” If your entry is chosen, you will be asked to sign a legal release – so please keep that in mind when entering.

Good luck! May the best Desk!Pig win!

I am a 40-something Ravenclaw/Slytherin from Massachusetts. I've been lucky in life and can attribute a lot of that to Harry Potter. Without it, I wouldn't have at least 80% of the things I do today, including my career & closest friends. I truly despise Sirius Black.
