MuggleNet previews Pottermore @ PlayStation Home

A recent press release from the people at Pottermore announced that the online companion to the Harry Potter books would soon be coming to platform gaming – specifically, PlayStation Home. MuggleNet has previewed the experience, gone inside the world of Harry Potter and explored, in-depth, the environments of Diagon Alley and the Hogwarts Express that will be available to Playstation Home users in April. Our two-person, four-thousand word review is now on-line!

Playstation Home is free to use for anyone with a Sony PlayStation console through the console’s Internet connection. Our review includes over 80 screenshots of the gorgeous, in-game experience as well as a full walkthrough of the items and features that the Pottermore experience will provide! In short, Kat and I (who reviewed the experience) were very pleased and, at times, blown away by just how FUN this version of Pottermore was, even when it was only the two of us! When the experience goes live next month, we can’t wait to see all of you wandering around, trading cards and herding books with us.

In Pottermore™ at Playstation Home, users will have the ability to roam around two environments from the Harry Potter series, Diagon Alley and the Hogwarts Express. Clothing and items to adorn your avatar will be available for purchase, and interactive games with other online participants include Book Herding, Card Trading, Pottermore Quiz and Wizard Dueling. In our review, we found all of the activities to be unexpectedly enjoyable, and really can NOT wait to hear more about what will come next. We will provide all of your continued coverage on Pottermore™ at Playstation Home here on MuggleNet.
