Pottermore releases eBooks to benefit Red Nose Day

Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling has always been an extremely generous donor to various charities, even creating Lumos, functioning to help the 8 million children worldwide who are living in institutions. Rowling has also been heavily involved with Comic Relief, which transforms the lives of people in the UK and around the world.

Goodereader.com writes that as part of Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day, Pottermore has released Quidditch Through the Ages and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them as eBooks and will donate 40% of the purchase price to the organization.

“J.K. Rowling has long been associated with Comic Relief,” said Alex King, head of marketing at Pottermore, “so we were really keen to highlight to givers and supporters of the charity that the eBooks of Quidditch Through the Ages and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them are now available – with at least £1.15 from every sale going to Comic Relief.”

Red Nose Day will take place March 15. To purchase these eBooks, and help support an amazing cause, head on over to Pottermore.com!
