Rupert Grint attends Stroud charity truck pull

On Monday, Rupert Grint partcipated in a truck pull event to benefit the The Door Youth Project, which offers mentoring and support for troubled teens. The event, held in Stroud, was a family affair for Rupert, attended by both of his parents and his sister Samantha, whose band was performing at the benefit. Rupert attended another event for The Door Youth Project in Stroud earlier this summer.

There are several photos from the event in IceCreamMan’s gallery, and they also covered the event. You can also check out what Stroud News wrote about the event here and here. Sounds like the truck pull was a success!

The thumbnail photo was taken by @carlhewlett at the event.

I've been making magic at MuggleNet since 2012, when I first joined the staff as a News intern. I've never wavered from the declaration in my childhood journal, circa October 2000: "I LOVE Harry Potter! If I clean my room, my mom says she'll make me a dinner a wizard would love!" Proud Gryffindor; don't hate.
