Emma Watson almost gave up acting after “Harry Potter”

It’s true that during the filming of the Harry Potter saga there were reports that Emma Watson was under some pressure. There were even whisperings among hardcore fans at one point that she was considering leaving the cast altogether, and Universal was going to have to find a new Hermione Granger.

Well, Emma reportedly told Total Film magazine she fully considered giving up on acting once she was finally done filming scenes for the finale of the series, Deathly Hallows – Part 2.

Here’s the exact quote from Emma, when asked if she had truly left the Harry Potter experience behind her:

“Kind of – I basically took two years out [after filming] and stepped as far away from it as I could – I mean the HP films were still coming out but I took time to really try and figure out who I was and what I wanted to do. I even considered not being an actress.”
