“The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman” to compete for Golden Duke Prize

We recently reported that the US rights for Rupert Grint’s upcoming film The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman had been acquired by Millenium Entertainment, but now there is even more big news for this little film! The Odessa International Film Festival, held in Ukraine, has selected the film to compete for its Golden Duke Prize, the top honor awarded by the festival.

The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman will compete against ten other films from all around the world during the festival, which takes place from July 12-20.
