Dear Obsessed Muggle,

I’m not certain how you managed to send me an owl, but I’ll answer your question.

Firstly, I do not hate Harry Potter. I spent a lifetime protecting him.

As for Draco… Every student responds to their own individual incentives. Draco craves approval, almost to an unhealthy degree. My attentions towards him were intended to make him study harder.
