Alfonso Cuarón named Best Director by LAFCA

Just days ago we posted about GQ naming Alfonso Cuarón, director of Prisoner of Azkaban, their Visionary of the Year. Now, he has landed another top honor in the film industry!

The Los Angeles Film Critics Association has named Cuarón Best Director for his work on the film Gravity, which also tied for Best Picture. What’s more impressive is that he also landed another award at the event: Best Film Editing, along with Mark Sanger, for his work on Gravity.

Congratulations to Alfonso, a cinematic wizard! You can read the original article here.
