MuggleNet Character of the Week: Whom will you vote for?
Recently we at MuggleNet have been feeling nostalgic. There have been a lot of discussions about favorite books, how much we miss midnight release parties, the theorizing of what is still to come, etc., etc. So we decided to feature a game akin to the Wizard of the Month club J.K. Rowling had on her old website. Ours is, simply put, MuggleNet’s Character of the Week.
Every week, starting on Saturday and running through Thursday at midnight, fans of Harry Potter from around the world can cast their vote via social media for their Character of the Week pick. MuggleNet will then tally the votes and each week crown a new Potter character as king (or queen) on high for the next seven days! The winner will be announced each Friday via social media.
There are just a few simple rules:
- Always remember to use #MyPotterPick, no matter which social media platform you are using, to voice your character choice.
- We won’t crown the same character two weeks in a row. There are 256 to choose from – so spread the love!
- This is for book characters ONLY. Not movie characters, not the actors, not J.K. Rowling herself. If they’re mentioned in the Harry Potter series, they are eligible.
