Another fabulous cover, I really love it. As for Prisoner I think it should be a pic of Harry about to save Sirius by the lake x

Itn spoils the book, though! I know it has been 16 years since the book wasn released, and many people have now watched the movie. However, you nspend the book wondering, “What is the monster within the chamber? Why nis Harry hearing voices?” It is a big reveal when Hermione discovers it nis a Basilisk.

I agree with Joe, the cover is a major spoiler! And visually I love everything except Harry’s face… I don’t know, it’s sort of feminine, and the hair is way too slick…

Do not like it. Harry looks like a girl. And i hate it when covers illustrate the ending of a book. It’s a major spoiler for all the new young readers that will buy the book in a few years.

I agree that maybe this wasn’t the best moment to pick to depict, but a lot of the other versions do have snakes or similiar on the front. Anyway, I do LOVE Jonny’s illustrations, and I’m so excited for these new editions!

I like the illustration of Harry. Yes, as other commenters have said, he looks kind of stereotypically “feminine” but that’s not necessarily a bad thing, just a reimagining of the appearance of the character. It’s different from the versions we’ve seen before, and I’m interested to see the rest of the covers. I like the art style.nnnIt says on the website that the books will be ‘reset to create a child-friendly reading experience’ as well, so I’m wondering if there will now be a different number of pages in each book. The UK editions have smaller print and the lines closer together, I think, compared to to the US editions, so maybe the print and/or line spacing and/or margins will be made larger?nnnAs a side note, Bloomsbury seems to be coming out with new covers for the books rather quickly, one after the other. A new “adult” set just came out last year, and the signature editions just a few years before that.nnnI already have the UK books and don’t plan on buying more anytime soon. I think it would make a cool gift for a new readers (or to replace books that have long been worn out by older fans).

Love the rich detail and colors in the illustration, but Harry seems to be sporting a bit of movie-Goblet hair!
