Are you ready for “The Silkworm”?

With all the exciting Diagon Alley news today, it can be easy to forget that tomorrow is also a very exciting day – the release of the second book in Robert Galbraith’s Cormoran Strike series, The Silkworm, at least in the UK!

Robert Galbraith’s official website has been updated in anticipation of the book’s release, and the first reviews of the novel have come in, many of them very positive! Here’s a bit of what reviewers are saying about The Silkworm:

From the New York Times:

An entertaining novel in which the most compelling characters are not the killer or the victim, but the detectives charged with solving the crime.

From Entertainment Weekly:

Rowling spins a compulsively entertaining yarn.

From the Telegraph:

It’s a book to gulp down.

And that’s only the tip of the iceberg! We can’t wait to read it here at MuggleNet, and we’re looking forward to hearing your thoughts after you’ve read the book as well!

Don’t forget that Amazon still isn’t filling novels for Hatchette books, which includes The Silkworm, so you might be better off exploring other retailers to get your copy. There’s never been a better time to support your local bookstore!

Will you be picking up a copy of The Silkworm tomorrow?

I've been making magic at MuggleNet since 2012, when I first joined the staff as a News intern. I've never wavered from the declaration in my childhood journal, circa October 2000: "I LOVE Harry Potter! If I clean my room, my mom says she'll make me a dinner a wizard would love!" Proud Gryffindor; don't hate.
