The winged stars of “Harry Potter” to appear this Sunday at Duthie Park in Aberdeen

Two of the owls that appeared in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone will appear at a family fun event at Duthie Park in Aberdeen on Sunday, July 20 between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m.

The two owls are Hedwig, a male snowy owl who played Harry’s steadfast pet, and Eral, a female great horned Oowl who delivered one of the letters to Harry in the film. You will be able to take photos with the feathered celebrities, who are attending “to increase people’s awareness of the environment and how to protect it.”
