“Pride”, featuring Bill Nighy, Imelda Staunton, and Jessie Cave, trailer released

The movie Pride, inspired by a true story, is set to be released in the UK this September and features several Harry Potter stars, including Bill Nighy (Rufus Scrimgeour), Imelda Staunton (Dolores Umbridge), and Jessie Cave (Lavender Brown). We previously brought you the first trailer for the film back in May and a more in-depth trailer was released this week!

Pride tells the story of the summer of 1984, when the National Union of Mineworkers went on strike. A London-based group of gay and lesbian activists decide to raise money and donate to the cause but were turned down. They then decided to bring the donation in person to a mining community in Wales, and the miners and activists discovered that they may have their differences, but they stand stronger united.
