Alan Rickman will be presented award at Camerimage Festival

Alan Rickman, who portrayed Severus Snape in the Harry Potter films, will be presented with the Kryzstof Kieslowski Award for his directorial work on A Little Chaos during the upcoming Camerimage cinematography festival.

As ScreenDaily reports,

Attending the festival, Rickman will present A Little Chaos, the period drama in which he co-stars with Kate Winslet. It marks his second film as a director after The Winter Guest in 1997 and debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.

The film is set to release on March 27, 2015, in the US.

Previous winners of the Kryzstof Kieslowsi Award include Potter alumni Gary Oldman (Gary Oldman) and Ralph Fiennes (Lord Voldemort).
