Pop! Vinyl to release “Harry Potter” figures!

UPDATE July 7: A new Pop! Vinyl figure of Harry holding the Sword of Gryffindor has been unveiled! This is the ninth figure in the collection, after last month’s addition of a Quidditch Harry Potter. See them both below:

It’s an exciting day for Harry Potter collectors and fans! Funko has struck a deal with Warner Bros. Consumer Products to produce a line of Harry Potter Pop! Vinyl figures.

This immensely popular brand has already produced figures based on characters from Star Wars, the Marvel Universe, Game of Thrones, and countless others – and now some of the most beloved Potter characters will get the Pop! treatment. In the first series of figures, seven characters will be featured: Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Voldemort, Albus Dumbledore, Rubeus Hagrid, and Severus Snape. You can view a rendering of what the Harry, Ron, and Hermione figures will look like below:

And, thanks to MTV.com, here are Snape and Voldemort:

Here are ALL of the figures:

The figures will be on sale at official Funko retailers beginning this July! Are you a collector of Pop! Vinyl? What character do you hope might get featured in a later series?

Love them! So excited. Harry should have black hair though.

  • So excited! We have Star Wars Pops, and I’ve been waiting for Harry Potter ones! Since Lego has discontinued all Harry Potter sets (and they are massively expensive because of it online), I have to get my collecting fix somewhere, and Funko just helped me on that!

    • Cassidy

Me too! I was casually looking at the lego sets and Noped when I saw the price.

  • Leyre Alijarde

Luna Lovegood and Neville Longbottom should be there too!

  • Cass

SO EXCITED! I have been wanting a Harry Potter Line from Funko for YEARS! These concept photos of them are already cute, I can’t wait to see what they actually look like!

From what I’ve been seeing on Facebook: To everyone complaining that the Harry figure should have green eyes…
Almost ALL of their pop figures have black eyes with the exception of a couple of villains. HONESTLY. They don’t show Ron having blue eyes or voldemort having red eyes. But yet you’re not complaining about those? If it really bothers you that much then paint it yourself. Just be grateful they’re even making them. And if you’re saying you’re grateful, yet you’re complaining… then you’re not grateful. just saying.

  • Really? They couldn’t even get Harry Potter’s hair color right? That doesnt look jetblack to me.

That’s just a cartoon rendering. I have the Elsa figure and on the cartoon on the box it shows her hair being pure white. and her skin really light. When in reality her hair was darker and more gray and her skin was more tanned. so don’t be so quick to judge on it when you haven’t seen the actual figure yet.

I cannot see the appeal of these dolls, I think they’re really ugly. (Not the Harry Potter ones specifically, just these sort of dolls in general.)

    • randy

then you have no sense of cute.

  • Jules

These are adorable! Cant wait! We need a Dobby one, or some of the magical creatures
