Change is the law of life. And those who look only to the past or present are certain to miss the future.” – John F. Kennedy

This year MuggleNet will be celebrating its 16th anniversary, and there are only a select amount of people who can say they’ve been around for most of it – one of them being Caleb Graves.

Caleb started his MuggleNet journey with MuggleNet Interactive in 2004, officially joining the staff in 2005. He rose to the status of Co-Headmaster and upon restructuring of the MuggleNet staff in 2012 was brought on as a representative of a MuggleNet sister site. He quickly proved himself to be a valuable addition to the team, being the most up-to-date on social media out of everyone – and with thoughtful, informed opinions to boot. When Noah and Kat started Alohomora! – MuggleNet’s global reread of Harry Potter – in 2012, Caleb was their first choice to join the fray.

Caleb is approaching the end of his first year at Georgetown Law in Washington, D.C. and wants to pursue a career in politics. Unfortunately for us – and for you – that means Caleb will be turning in his wand and wizard hat (mandatory dress code for all MuggleNet staff, don’t ya know!) and leaving us crazy wizards in the dust. He will, however, remain a host on Alohomora!, so don’t fret, listeners!

Caleb, from all of us on staff, and on behalf of all the MuggleNet fans who have enjoyed your contributions, THANK YOU for your many, many years of service on MNI and MuggleNet alike. We look forward to voting for you in 2030!

I am a 40-something Ravenclaw/Slytherin from Massachusetts. I've been lucky in life and can attribute a lot of that to Harry Potter. Without it, I wouldn't have at least 80% of the things I do today, including my career & closest friends. I truly despise Sirius Black.
