Watch the trailer for “Risen”, starring Tom Felton

The trailer for Tom Felton’s upcoming Biblical epic, Risen, is now available! Previously titled Clavius, the film tells the story of the resurrection of Jesus through the eyes of a non-believing Roman military tribune named Clavius (Joseph Fiennes).

Tom Felton plays Clavius’s aide, Lucius (a name that may be somewhat amusing to Potter fans). Together, Clavius and Lucius are tasked by Pontius Pilate (Peter Firth) with locating Jesus’s missing body in order to stop an uprising in Jerusalem.

Risen is directed by Kevin Reynolds. It is scheduled for US release on January 22, 2016.
