Scholastic to Release New Editions of “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” and “Quidditch Through the Ages”

Just in time for Fantastic Beasts fever to really get off the ground, Scholastic is releasing new US editions of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Quidditch Through the Ages on June 30! Originally published in 2001, the American editions of these Hogwarts textbooks have remained largely unchanged until now. Check out the full covers below:

You might recognize these covers – they are almost the same design as the editions that were included in the 2013 Hogwarts Library Box Set published by Scholastic (Bloomsbury published the same box set in 2012). However, this is the first time that the two books will be available individually as hardcovers. Each book will be priced at $9.99.

Will you be picking up a copy?

err… they just switched the colors around and added a logo on the cover for Fantastic Beasts. FB can really use a new edition since not all magical creatures are listed there. And with the new movie, there’s bound to be even more additions. so maybe i’d just hold out for when the movie comes out? publishers always release some new variant with the release of its film.
