Daniel Radcliffe promotes his new film around Comic-Con!

Good news, Dan fans: Our very own Harry has been busy lately promoting his new film Victor Frankenstein, including heading to San Diego Comic-Con! Dan appeared with his co-star in the film, James McAvoy (who will be playing the title character of the film), in various interviews.

Though Dan was mainly focused on the new film, which will be released this fall, he also had a few other interesting tidbits to share. He spoke about his visit to the new Star Wars set, when he was visiting his friends on the crew who have moved to that series, and about how impressed he is that David Yates has signed on for three more Potter– related movies with Fantastic Beasts.

Additionally, he mentioned his time acting in The Cripple of Inishmaan and how that role influenced his role as Igor in the new Frankenstein movie.

It also seems that Dan and James are having a great time wandering among the guests at Comic-Con! They stopped and visited with many media outlets to talk about the film and give fans a peek into Frankenstein. The pair spoke with IGN to let fans know that their film differs from Mary Shelley’s version and is told from Igor’s perspective yet still deals with the science and technology of that time as well as progress for the sake of progress and the toxic relationship between Victor and Igor.

Additionally, Dan talked about Game Changer, in which he plays Rockstar Games co-founder Sam Houser. He told IGN that he found the story of how Grand Theft Auto began interesting and that the film takes place after Vice City was released and includes the hot coffee incident, as well as Jack Thompson. He also addressed BBC’s lawsuit for making the film but said he wasn’t sure what the issue was.

Are you excited for either Game Changer or Victor Frankenstein? Or did you perhaps catch a glimpse of Dan at SDCC today? Let us know in the comments!
