Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hollywood Construction Making Great Progress

It’s been a few months since we last updated you on construction at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hollywood, and these new photos from MiceChat show that Universal has made significant progress!

The scaffolding appears to have completely come down around Hogsmeade. Meanwhile, Hogwarts castle has come a long way from the steel framework we last saw, and its scaffolds are beginning to come down as well.

MiceChat reports that ride vehicles are already moving through the Forbidden Journey ride in the castle, which is certainly a good sign. Check out all the photos below.

We learned last month that Universal Studios Hollywood plans to open the park in spring 2016, but exactly when in the spring still remains a mystery. MiceChat speculates that recent changes to Universal’s annual pass program mean that the park may open as early as March, but we won’t get our hopes up just yet. It will likely be quite a while before we hear anything about the official opening date.

Nevertheless, these construction photos look promising, and we can’t wait until we can visit the park ourselves.

Will you be visiting the Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hollywood when it opens next year?
