Emma Watson Embraces Feminism with Fabric

Only two days from now, on December 3, Emma Watson’s 12-day-long clothing sale on Vestiaire Collective will kick-start and help women in war-torn countries all over the world.

Watson, along with other female stars such as Lupita Nyongo and Keira Knightley, will sell off some of their most loved clothing items in a collaboration with Women for Women International. The sale is part of a new initiative, Wardrobes for Women. The money raised will be used to allow the beneficiaries to recover their families from the effects of war through health training and employment.

With Emma having been named best-dressed on multiple occasions, we can’t help but be excited to see who the new owners of her classy items will be – and of course, to see the positive effects that the program will have on struggling women.

Having seen Emma take such a huge step up to the plate with HeForShe, we can’t help but be in awe, yet again, of her passion for feminism. Are you as impressed as we are by Emma’s decision? Please do tell us in the comments!
