Harry Potter: The Exhibition Adds Stops, Extends World Tour to 2020

If you’ve had a chance to visit Harry Potter: The Exhibition on one of its many stops, you know what an amazing experience it can be. For those who are unable to make the journey to the Studio Tour in London, the Exhibition is one of their only chances to see props and costumes from the Harry Potter films. Now, Warner Bros. and Global Experience Specialists (GES – the company that executes the tour) have announced that the Exhibition, which has seen stops in New York, Paris, Tokyo, Sydney, and more, will extend its world tour until spring 2020!

Harry Potter: The Exhibition is currently on display in Shanghai, and it has today been revealed that several more stops will be added to the tour after its run in Shanghai ends. We do not yet know which new cities the Exhibition will be visiting, but with an additional four years of traveling time, many more fans are going to have the opportunity to experience this truly remarkable exhibit.

Robin Stapley, VP of GES Entertainment, has said of the extension,

We are thrilled to extend the exhibition’s tour with Warner Bros. Consumer Products. Harry Potter: The Exhibition has excited fans for the past seven years, and we are so pleased to continue the magic.

Have you visited Harry Potter: The Exhibition? Which cities do you hope it visits on its extended tour?

I want the Harry Potter exhibition to come to Washington DC so badly I can taste it! The Smithsonian would be excellent.

I’m sorry to say but the exhibition was already in the U.S.A. At least 5 times. It was in Chicago, Boston, twice in New York and Seattle. It going around to give people in other countries a chance to see it.

  • I’d VERY much like to see it come to Southern California.

    • Or northern California, but if it’s going to be one or the other, it would be more profitable in Los Angeles. Maybe around LeakyCon… Seriously, it doesn’t make any sense that it hasn’t come to California yet!!

      • It really doesn’t! And we SoCal people have enough major conventions… *cough*SDCC*cough*WonderCon*cough*AnimeLA*cough* And so many more. Plus, Los Angeles is a major travel hub. TONS of tourists out here all the time!

        • Not to mention… California has the eighth largest economy in the world, has the largest population in the country, contains 4 of the top 15 largest cities in the country, and is the movie-making/entertainment capital of the world.

          Bring us the Exhibition!!!

Northern Ireland or Ireland would be brilliant. We never get anything Harry Potter related over here and that includes the cast visiting, well Northern Ireland anyways.
