Daniel Radcliffe Signs on for Psychological Thriller “Jungle”

While the world is still buzzing about Daniel Radcliffe‘s unusual role in the upcoming film Swiss Army Man, we now know what his newest project will be – psychological thriller Jungle, an adaptation of Yossi Ghinsberg’s memoir about a dangerous expedition into the Amazon.

Ghinsberg’s trials begin when he, two friends, and a guide venture into the jungle. They soon run low on supplies, and tension among the group only further strains their limited resources. Before long, they’re fighting for their lives. Radcliffe will star as Ghinsberg himself, and filming is set to start in Australia later this year.

Producer Gary Hamilton said of Radcliffe’s casting,

We’re extremely excited about Daniel Radcliffe joining the cast of ‘Jungle.’ He has an enthusiastic global fan base [and] a wide range as an actor as evident by his diversity of roles and is known for picking out unique and interesting projects.
