Watch Rupert Grint and Bonnie Wright Face the Pottermore Sorting Hat!

Fans may currently be obsessing about the newly released portraits of Ron and Ginny Weasley from Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, but that doesn’t mean that we don’t still have a big ol’ soft spot for Rupert Grint and Bonnie Wright, who portrayed them in the Harry Potter films. What better way to reminisce on their Potter days than to watch them face the gauntlet of the Pottermore Sorting Hat?

Pottermore first posted a short interview with Rupert that concluded with his Sorting. The results come as a surprise to no one except Rupert himself (especially because he let the results slip at the Celebration back in January, when we suspect this clip was filmed) – but it’s still fun to watch!

Pottermore followed Rupert’s video with a brief interview with Bonnie Wright, who was more in tune with what her Hogwarts House would be.

Which actor from the films would you most like to see sorted on Pottermore?

Tom Felton – it would be interesting to see where “Draco” ends up. Or Helena Bonham Carter – same idea. Imelda Staunton – has she ever played a nice character? I’m sure “Umbridge” is a proud Slytherin right?

I believe Tom did the test a while ago and was indeed Gryffindor.
Imelda Staunton played Hefina in “Pride”, who is courageous and stands in for equal rights and even enjoys a party night in London with her friends. But that does not contradict Slytherin for her, I guesss.

I think it would be absolutely hilarious, if Daniel Radcliffe wound up a Slytherin and Tom Felton were a Gryffindor. I’d also like to see what house David Heyman or Chris Columbus wound up in, since they started the whole film side of the series.

    Natalia Tena and Gary Oldman.
