Bid on Daniel Radcliffe’s Loud Shirt Now!

Would you like to get a piece of Daniel Radcliffe memorabilia and help a great cause at the same time? Now’s your chance!

Daniel Radcliffe is no stranger to charitable efforts; he has donated items to charity auctions frequently in the past, including a recent donation of sunglasses for Sightsavers. Now you can bid on a shirt donated by Radcliffe to help provide training and therapy for children with permanent hearing loss. As part of its Loud Shirt Day promotion, Auditory Verbal UK is auctioning loud shirts donated and autographed by celebrity supporters.

Loud Shirt Day raises awareness of the struggles of children in the UK who are deaf and raises money for Auditory Verbal UK by “Getting loud to create a sound future for deaf children.” The annual event was held on June 16, 2017, when groups across the UK dressed in their loudest shirts and held a variety of fundraisers for the charity. The fun and fundraising continues with a celebrity loud shirt auction via eBay. In addition to Daniel Radcliffe, celebrity supporters include Mel C, Paloma Faith, Dame Evelyn Glennie, Matt Lucas, Annie Mac, Maisie Williams, Robin Windsor, Mark Wright, and Will Young. The Karmakula Hawaiian shirt donated by Radcliffe is a bright red with a pattern of green and yellow hibiscus flowers and blue foliage – and of course, the autograph!

Auditory Verbal UK is a charity that improves the lives of babies and young children with permanent hearing loss through auditory-verbal therapy. This technique teaches children to listen and talk, building crucial communication skills that are not easy for children who are deaf to develop on their own. These skills improve their achievement in school, social interactions, and relationships, which are important in building happy lives.

The auction on Dan’s shirt ends on July 23, 2017, so make sure to keep an eye on the auction page if you’d like to bid!
