BREAKING: J.K. Rowling Reveals Details of Jessica Williams’ “Fantastic Beasts” Character

J.K. Rowling, who has been blowing up Twitter with details of her trip to NYC for the Broadway opening of Cursed Child, just dropped some major info about the upcoming Fantastic Beasts films. In a tweet, Rowling finally revealed the role Jessica Williams will be playing: Professor Eulalie (Lally) Hicks of Ilvermorny!

Fans have been theorizing about Williams’ role since her casting was announced last year, so the response to this bombshell was unsurprisingly swift. Rowling went on to reply to some fan comments, further revealing that while Williams will have a role in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, that role will grow significantly in the third Fantastic Beasts film.

We can’t wait to see what Rowling means by Lally’s “true glory.” What role do you think Professor Hicks might have in the films?
