“Harry Potter” Barbie Dolls Are Coming!

Mattel, the makers of Barbie, has revealed a set of six collectible Harry Potter dolls soon to hit store shelves! Included are young versions of Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Ginny, along with Professors Dumbledore and McGonagall.

The dolls will be available in the United States in August, and you can now preorder them from Walmart at a price of $20.97 each. UK fans won’t have to wait much longer – Mattel says they should be available in the United Kingdom around September.

Harry Potter collectible figures are certainly in no short supply – just this past week, we got news of a new wizarding world LEGO minifigure series and two new ghosts for the ever-expanding collection of Harry Potter Funko Pop!s. If these new dolls from Mattel sell well – which they surely will – we’ll no doubt see more characters added to this collection in the future as well.

Will you be picking up any of these new Barbie-style Harry Potter dolls? Which is your favorite?
