Illustrated Edition of “The Tales of Beedle the Bard” Available for Preorder!

We’ve been in love with The Tales of Beedle the Bard ever since Dumbledore passed his copy down to Hermione and introduced us to a vital part of a young wizard’s childhood. Hermione and Harry read them as adults, but Ron’s relationship with these stories is far older. There’s no doubt that the Weasley children spent many an evening reading “The Fountain of Fair Fortune” and “The Warlock’s Hairy Heart” from beautifully illustrated picture books – and now, so can we! Bloomsbury has announced that the full-color illustrated edition of The Tales of Beedle the Bard is now ready for preorder!

Chris Riddell brings each story to life with his vibrant ink-and-watercolor illustrations, accompanied by new commentary by Dumbledore himself. Finally, fans will be able to see the three brothers meet death on the bridge in full color!

Both the deluxe and regular illustrated copies are available for preorder at a special discount rate through the Bloomsbury website and will hit shelves on October 2, so be sure to get your copy ASAP!

Gayané Kaligian

Gayane has been writing about Harry Potter since the fourth grade, when she wrote her first five-paragraph essay on why Percy Weasley’s buffoonery could have led to Voldemort winning. These days, she’s still talking about the Weasley brothers, but it’s mostly about how overlooked Charlie is. In her free time, you can find her researching stunt choreography and geeking out over theater.
