“Crimes of Grindelwald” Will Not Have a United States Premiere

Bad news for fans who hoped to attend an American premiere of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald – Warner Bros. has confirmed that the US premiere, previously planned for New York City, will not happen.

A Crowdrise campaign hosted by Lumos over the summer indicated that a New York premiere of the second Fantastic Beasts film would accompany premieres in Paris and London. As the months went by, dates were confirmed for the premieres in Paris (November 8) and London (November 13), but information about New York was conspicuously absent. Now we know why – the New York premiere has apparently been scrapped.

No information is available about why the New York premiere will not be held – we’ll keep you updated if we learn anything more.
