Magical March Madness Round 3: Which Pair of Wizarding World Pals Would You Bring on an Adventure?

We’re almost at the end of our Magical March Madness competition! For now, we’ve got two pairs of wizarding world friend-ships to choose between before the final round next week! The decisions only get more difficult, and we know you’ll have a hard time picking your favorite for this week!

As always, keep reading to find out who got voted out in the previous round. Once you’ve reviewed the choices for this week, head over here to vote for who you want to see go to the next round!

1. Ginny & Hermione vs. Sirius & Remus

Ginny’s face is our face when we realized we have to pick between these two iconic friend-ships! Ginny beat out Harry by the tiniest bit in the last round. Now you get to decide between two Marauders and two of Gryffindor’s coolest girls! Maybe you’ll get into magical mischief at the Burrow with Ginny and Hermione or take a tour of the Shrieking Shack with Remus and Sirius! Are you drawn to the danger of hanging out with an Animagus and a werewolf, or is getting the gossip about who’s dating who at Hogwarts more interesting? If you want to fight Voldemort or learn the secrets of the Marauder’s Map, Remus and Sirius might be your choice. However, what if you’d have more fun learning powerful Defense Against the Dark Arts lessons from Dumbledore’s Army veterans like Hermione and Ginny? I know it’s not an easy choice for me!

2. Fred & George vs. WILDCARD – Harry & Hermione

We couldn’t say goodbye to Harry and Hermione just yet. How will these best friends stand up against the Weasley twins? Whether you’re pulling pranks with Fred and George or solving mysteries with Harry and Hermione, you can’t really lose in this round! Maybe messing with Peeves at Hogwarts or helping develop new Wheezes for the joke shop sounds like a perfectly magical day with Fred and George. Perhaps you’re more interested in hunting Horcruxes and discovering the secrets of Dark magic with Harry and Hermione. No matter which you pick, what’s not to love about these two pairs of friends?

Now that you’ve read through your choices, be sure to cast your vote here!

Don’t forget to check back next week to see your finalists!

In third grade, my teacher told me Harry Potter was from the devil, so naturally, I have been obsessed with the books ever since. I'm a Gryffindor, a Leo (like J.K. Rowling), and I work at a boarding school (like Hogwarts). I write hot takes on the wizarding world from the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina.
