A Little About Me: I credit my obsessive love of Harry Potter to my best friend, Hope. She convinced me to watch Sorcerer's Stone and I was immediately drawn in. I went right out and purchased the books and devoured them in no time. Harry renewed a love for reading that I had long since lost. I stumbled upon MuggleNet shortly after and became a frequent visitor. I was hired in 2006 as a gallery coder, and slowly took on odd jobs. I took over and reinvented Fan of the Week back February of 2009 and have been having a blast ever since! October 2011 marks my five year anniversary with MuggleNet, and I hope to be with the site for many years to come!
When I'm not online reading all of your emails (YES! I read ALL of them!) I am a small business owner in Western Massachusetts. I run a successful photography studio and hope to someday work for a magazine or public relations firm. I am also very interested in fashion, graphic design, music of all kinds, interior design, & keeping fit and healthy. I am in love with my MINI Cooper Convertible and wouldn't trade it for the world. A Little About Me: I'm a college kid from Long Island, New York and I go to Muhlenberg, a rather small school in PA. I'm also an English Lit major and I oversee a creative-writers group - which I take great pleasure in. A Little About Me: I was first introduced to Harry Potter when I was in third grade. My teacher, Mrs. Lowry, read the Philosopher's Stone to us in class and I was immediately hooked. Like many others, I obsessed over all the books, dressed up for all the movie premiers and kept up to date on all things HP on MuggleNet. I never could have imagined that 13 years later, at a career fair, I would be interviewing with Emerson Spartz for a position in his new company. I graduated from Saint Mary's College and quickly made the move to Chicago to start my new job, the Brand Manager of Spartz Media (http://www.spartzmedia.com/) . I was thrilled in August when Emerson asked me to be part of MuggleNet.

I'm originally from Toronto, but I grew up in Dublin, Ohio. I'm a huge fan of hockey (Go Leafs!) and love Notre Dame football. A Little About Me: I really didn't get into Harry Potter until around the release of book five, but by the time book six was out I was a Mugglenet addict, sometimes checking the site multiple times a day. A Little About Me: I received my first Harry Potter book as a present the very year it was released in the States and from that moment on, I became a lifelong fan. Each word, character, book, and film has shaped who I am and has also brought out my passion for literature. I was recently blessed when I was hired to join the MuggleNet staff and can not wait to be a part of the MuggleNet community for years to come.

Although I live in the South, I was originally born and raised in Wheeling, WV. My hometown, my family, especially my little sister, Bobbi, mean everything to me. In college, I studied Elementary Education for three years. Another one of my passions is photography where I work freelancing, eventually hoping to open my own studio. I am hoping to continue my education where I currently reside in North Carolina, where my fiance, Clayton, is from. We plan to marry this Spring in my hometown.

A Little About Me: I was first introduced to Harry Potter at the age of seven when I received two copies (yes, two) of Sorcerer's Stone for Christmas, thus prompting my love for everything about the series. Not much has changed in the decade or so since, and I've been an avid MuggleNet reader and MuggleCast listener since just before the Deathly Hallows book release.

A Little About Me: When I was seven, I made a deal with my mom: I was only allowed to see The Sorcerer's Stone movie, which she deemed 'too scary,' if I read the book first. A Little About Me: I first read Harry Potter when I was 7, after my then 12-year-old brother told me how awesome the books were. I was instantly hooked, and I've been in love with the series ever since. I started transcribing for MuggleCast in Winter 2010, and when I saw that there were available positions as a MuggleNet intern, I applied instantly (literally!). I am truly excited to be working with such amazing people, and to have Harry Potter continue to be a part of my daily life - the series may have ended, but the fandom will live on forever.
I am currently attending Baruch College in New York City, where I am majoring in English Literature. My dream is to one day become a published writer myself. J.K. A Little About Me: I was about 9 or 10 when I began reading the first Harry Potter book and was immediately hooked. Apart from getting me reading again, they also inspired me to join the online community of Harry Potter fans on MuggleNet, where, in 2006, I became part of the staff. Working for the site is an amazing experience and helps express my passion for the books.

When I'm not busy working on the site or studying I love spending time with my family and friends. Music is quite significant in my life; I enjoy playing the keyboard and listening to music from bands like Fall Out Boy, Panic! At The Disco, Taking Back Sunday, Lost Prophets, The All-American Rejects, Arctic Monkeys, Linkin Park and Yellowcard, to name just a few. A Little About Me: I have been around MNI since 2004 and joined staff in 2005. A Little About Me: I discovered the Harry Potter fandom later than many fans at 19 years old. Midway through my second year at university, a good friend and huge fan of the series convinced me to read the first book. I was immediately hooked and bought books 2,3, and 4, then waited anxiously with thousands if not millions of other fans, for the release of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. I found MuggleNet in 2004 and joined the staff at MuggleNet Interactive (MNI) in November 2005. Since then, I've held the positions of Professor (Potions), Prefect, Head Girl, and now Deputy Headmistress. Over the years I've watched the site evolve in so many ways and have had the chance to meet so many wonderful people, some of whom are now my closest friends.

Away from the HP fandom, I just finished my graduate degree in Anthropology. I'm a huge fan of musical theatre and dance, particularly ballet which I studied intensively while growing up. I play with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for fun, though I don't consider myself an artist by any means, and have done quite a few of the graphics for MNI over the years. When I'm not working or working on MNI, I can usually be found relaxing with my roommates, watching movies or curled up with a good book.

A Little About Me: Having a parent who works with books is amazing. As a child I was introduced to the most fantastic stories as soon as they hit the shelves, and since then I’ve always had a pile to read at any one given moment. I’ve been a Potter fan since the very first book was released when I was six, so I think it’s safe to say I grew up with the series like so many fans. I’ve been on Mugglenet for over eight years now, first as a fan and then as staff over on the fanfiction site. Those of you who use that site will know me as Roxy Black, and I’m very proud to be bridging the gap between MNFF and mainsite these days. I’m currently in the final year of my degree in English and Comparative literatures and hope to teach in the next few years and inspire more kids to get into reading!
