It was reported today that Emma Watson is linked to a new fantasy franchise project - The Queen of the Tearling.

According to a report that was confirmed by Warner Brothers, the actress is in talks for the development of a film adaptation of the as-yet unreleased book by Erika Johansen, which is due out from Harper Collins in 2014. Emma is also teaming up on the project with another Potter alum, David Heyman, who produced all eight Harry Potter films.

The book's heroine is 19-year-old Kelesa Glynn, and is part of a seven book series being billed as a female Game of Thrones. The story will take place 300 years in the future after a major environmental disaster. Johansen has said that the series was inspired in part by a speech given by Barack Obama in 2007.

How do you feel about Emma taking part in another fantasy franchise? What do you think of her agreeing in this project before the book is even released? Let us know in the comments below!

Emma Watson's highly anticipated film The Bling Ring doesn't hit U.S. theaters until tomorrow, but we've got the latest news on Emma and the film to tide you over until then!

First up, MTV has released some new stills from the movie. Click the link to get a sneak preview of a few of Emma's high fashion ensembles from the film.

Emma was also looking fabulous in real life at the New York City premiere of the film a couple of days ago. You can check out Emma's look here.

Finally, Emma recently gave an interesting interview where she talks about the process of preparing to film The Bling Ring, including revealing that she and her co-stars actually robbed a house to prepare for the film:

Sofia had me rob a house. I think the house belongs to Sofia's cousins in LA. We ended up jumping in through a window. We stole some bags. It was very funny to see how, as [individuals], we reacted differently to the scenario. I was really horrified. But Taissa was like, 'Wait guys, we should get something from the fridge. Is anyone hungry?' I was like, 'This is crazy!' It was funny, but it definitely felt very wrong and weird.

In the interview, Emma also remarks on some vital differences between herself and the character she plays in The Bling Ring, Nicki:

[Fame] happened to me so [early in life]. I didn't really know what it meant. In a way, that was helpful because it meant I didn't realize that what I said would be syndicated to hundreds of publications. I didn't realize howpeople would be reading it. Nicki definitely knows [what fame means] and she definitely is very interested in [it]. Being a notable, or a person that people know, is a very basic human need. But for someone like me, who jealously guards her privacy, it was difficult to relate to that aspect. I think Nicki just desperately wants to be loved.

Be sure and check out the rest of the interview to hear more of Emma's musings on The Bling Ring! Will you be going to see the film in theaters tomorrow?

It's true that during the filming of the Harry Potter saga there were reports that Emma Watson was under some pressure. There were even whisperings among hardcore fans at one point that she was considering leaving the cast all together, and Universal was going to have to find a new Hermione Granger.

Well, Emma reportedly told Total Film magazine she fully considered giving up on acting once she was finally done filming scenes for the finale of the series, 'Deathly Hallows - part 2'.

Here's the exact quote from Emma, when asked if she had truly left the Harry Potter experience behind her:

"Kind of - I basically took two years out [after filming] and stepped as far away from it as I could - I mean the HP films were still coming out but I took time to really try and figure out who I was and what I wanted to do. I even considered not being an actress."

For our purposes (reporting on her) we MuggleNet staff are glad she's still acting! Her next big flick 'The Bling Ring' comes out in theaters in the US June 14 - check out the trailer below!

We may still have to wait a few more days to see The Bling Ring in theaters, but in the meantime fans can check out this new photo of Emma at the LA premiere of the film, tweeted from the film's official Twitter account.

As always, Emma is looking lovely! Are you going to see The Bling Ring when it hits theaters June 14?

In the interview above, Emma Watson discusses her work in the comedy, This is the End. The Potter star touches on what t was like working on her first comedy ever, the basic movie story line, and her first day of shooting.

Two additional videos - Emma Watson in This is the End B-rolls and Emma Watson in This is the End clip - were also released. The first clip shows Watson on set, and the second clip, from the movie, shows her character breaking into James Franco's character's house.

This is the End, about a group of guys plus Emma Watson, who are trying to survive the apocalypse. The film releases in theaters June 12.
