I'm pleased to announce the first supporting guests to appear at MuggleMayhem, MuggleNet's not-for-profit summer convention in association with Showmasters Ltd. Genevieve Gaunt (Pansy Parkinson) and William Melling (Nigel) will both be included in the free autographs that each attendee will receive. Keep your eyes pealed for the main guest appearances, which will be announced shortly. Also, I'll be running the academic symposium part of the event, and am looking for around five people to present papers and discuss the issues raised with the audience. If you'd like to submit a proposal, or have a Harry Potter issue you'd like to present on, please get in touch with me at jamie at staff dot mugglenet dot com. Hope to see you there!

For those attending MuggleMayhem, there will be a display of original film props throughout the convention as well as a themed potion room for you to mix your own potions in. On the Saturday night an auction will be held for charity: items will include rare posters, promo items, t-shirts, signed items and a meal with the Harry Potter film actors attending the convention. Please see the official forum for more information. MuggleMayhem is a not-for-profit Harry Potter convention that will run between August 7th and 9th. It is a joint venture between MuggleNet and Showmasters Ltd.
