As previously reported, Rupert Grint is making the move to the small screen in a new CBS pilot, Super Clyde, but he shan't be going it alone. Stephen Fry has been confirmed as the latest actor to join the cast in the the role of Clyde's butler, Randolf.

The actor, who recently hosted the BAFTA awards and had starred in numerous films included Guy Ritche's Sherlock Holmes sequel, will be making is U.S. pilot debut with Super Clyde. He and Grint follow in the steps of numerous British actors currently starring in American TV shows. As Rupert-Grint.us noted, however, this isn't the first time the pair have worked together. They both starred in the 2002 film, Thunderpants as well as appearing in the recent Visit Britain adverts. Fry is also the voice behind the British Harry Potter audiobooks.

What do you think of this pairing? Are you looking forward to seeing Grint and Fry alongside each other once more? Let us know in the comments section below.

Taking a break from the endless amount of Half-Blood Prince photos we've seen in the past week, a Flickr user has posted photos of a Stephen Fry/JK Rowling photoshoot. The photos were taken in May 2007 to promote the the UK Potter audiobooks, which Fry narrates. Thanks to Snitch Seeker for the tip!

Bloomsbury has just announced that for the first time the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows audiobook, read by Stephen Fry, will be released at the same time as the book (July 21st).
