Spiderwick premiere report and interviews

The Spiderwick Chronicles was released this weekend in theaters and in IMAX! If you haven't had a chance to see it yet, be sure to go! In December, MuggleNet held a search for the 'Ultimate Fantasy Fan' to find one person to represent MuggleNet at the premiere. Winner Amanda Peterson's report is now online! When I found out that I had won 'The Search For The Ultimate Fantasy Fan' contest I was, to say the least, ecstatic. From the writing of my essay to the flight home, this has been an amazing journey for me.

Probably the biggest thing for me, besides seeing the movie and meeting Holly B. and Tony D., was the recognition of my work. I was amazed that my work, the seemingly ordinary essay of a 13-year-old, was responded to with so much positive feedback.

In the matter of The Spiderwick Chronicles, the books are highly enthralling and the film based off them is just as good, if not even more so. Chocked full with entertainment, this film is like a hearty stew. It has the right amount of adventure, fantasy, family sense, and even a dash of a bird-loving Hobgoblin.

From humor to suspense, the Grace children lead you through their world of mediocre happenings into their point-of-no-return when the opening of an ancient field guide throws their life into the chaos of the fey.

The Grace Family may have a happy ending, or they may end up an ogre's lunch. You'll have to see it for yourself. As for me, my trip may be over, but my adventures are just starting, if you don't mind me saying. Now is the chance for you to have an adventure, so grab a Seeing Stone and check out The Spiderwick Chronicles.
