MuggleNet reader report from Half-Blood Prince train tour
MuggleNet reader report from Half-Blood Prince train tour Last week we told you about a new European Half-Blood Prince train tour being hosted in several areas to promote the film's release.

Thanks to MuggleNet reader Nia, we now have a great written preview of the train tour after she checked it out in Dublin this evening:

Just came out of the Tour and it was very interesting. There were some costumes and props. They had Dumbledore's costume, some of Harry's clothes and Slughorn's outfit including cloak. They also had the wands of these characters, Harry's Firebolt and the Sorting Hat on display. The email we were sent said we weren't allowed to take photos which was disappointing.

Read more - including her thoughts on the Half-Blood Prince video game demo they had - at the link below.
The whole thing was sort of like a competition for a another competition. After seeing these props you were led in individually to get a special photo taken that was inserted into an exclusive Half Blood Prince card. Then they videoed everyone saying a spell. The videos from Dublin should be online tomorrow on MSN. The winner who said the spell best (I think, they weren't too clear on that) will win a trip to the set of Deathly Hallows and could be included in the movie as one of the sleeping portraits from Dumbledore's office. There'll be one winner from each venue.

Editor's note: the contest details Nee described may not be accurate. Warner Brothers has not stated how the contest winner for the Deathly Hallows trip will be decided. Furthermore, they have not stated if there's a winner from each train stop OR if there's one winner out all of the stops.

And now possibly the best for last: the video game! We were allowed to play the HBP video game on either Xbox or Wii. I'm not very impressed by video games but this one actually looks good! The graphics are AMAZING. Better than Sims3 at any rate. And it seems fast-paced yet the movement and controls were easy to use. I'd say I might even buy this game!

That's basically a rundown of what happened. Disappointed we couldn't find out anything about the actual movie but fingers crossed that I'll win the set visit trip. Although I'm assuming you'll be going on a set visit anyway so I'm not sure how much I'd be able to tell you if I won that.
