Bloomsbury has just announced that for the first time the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows audiobook, read by Stephen Fry, will be released at the same time as the book (July 21st). Here are some other interesting (random) facts about this audiobook: -Listening time for the DH audio edition is 24 hours and 1 minute -The audio editions of the Harry Potter books have now sold over a million copies. -Stephen Fry has spent a total of 38 days in the studio recording all seven Harry Potter books -Stephen Fry has voices for over 170 characters from the books -In the same time as it takes to listen to all seven audiobooks you could go to the moon, and still have nearly a day left over to look around, or listen to a Harry Potter book, once you got there. -In the same time as it takes to listen to the Deathly Hallows audiobook, you could: · Fly from London to Sydney, Australia · Run the men’s 100 metres world record 8800 times · Play 16 football matches · Listen to Queen’s ‘It’s a kind of magic’ 330 times · Watch The Wizard of Oz 14 times

they must of been working on the audio book at the same time as the book.

So many fans visit King’s Cross station to take pictures of platforms 9 and 10 that the station management erected a sign that says “Platform 9 ¾” which, in the Potter books, is invisible to Muggles but acts as a gateway for witches and wizards.
