JK Rowling on the Jonathan Ross show

The first part of JK Rowling on the Jonathan Ross show is now online. In the interview, the author discusses how and why she chose her pen name, her plans after Harry Potter, and the number of deaths that will be present in the last installation of the series, Deathly Hallows. Natalie McDonald, who appeared in Harry Potter and Goblet of Fire, was based on a real girl Rowling knew who was dying of leukemia. She wrote to JK Rowling asking what was going to happen in the next Harry Potter book as she would not live long enough to read it.
